This simple charging system is very popular with librarians. As well as being an effective charging system, it also provides the librarian with a record of borrowings by all individuals. Use card A for books (Author and title) – it is kept in the book while still on the shelf. Cards B and C are for the borrowers details. The title of each book and the issue date are written on the card – this allows for circulation information to be cross-referenced. All cards are 3×5 inches. Issue trays are available and are exceptionally well made beechwood trays with to tongue and groove joints. For holding reader’s tickets with book cards inserted, for the books on loan. Available as either single trays or triplex trays (3 rows). There are also indexes available in 3 styles – date (1-31), month (Jan – Dec) and alpha (A – Z)
